Food Drive at Asda fills the van!

Some pictures from our really successful Food Drive at Asda over the weekend.

Thanks to everyone in Bridgwater who donated food for the Foodbank, we filled the van as you can see! Thanks also to the volunteers who gave up their Saturday to be there for the collection – especially Lesley Gates and her team.

We also had help from some young ‘Foodbank Warriors’. Lily set herself the task of seeing how much she could buy with £20. The others helped to fill a trolley, well done young ‘uns!

If everyone donated one tin or packet, our shelves would soon fill up. It all helps. There are donation points after the checkouts in Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons, if you can help.
