About our foodbank

Here is an introduction to our project.

Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area.

Bridgwater Foodbank is run completely by a happy bunch of volunteers who give their time generously. We have no paid staff.

We have recently undertaken a construction project, and are delighted that our new building, which has replaced an old portacabin, has been completed. Now we have the new space, we can welcome folk in to our main building when they come to pick up their food parcels, have a chat over a cup of tea and give advice when needed.
