Building upgrades

We have been upgrading the premises and have had new double glazing fitted in all windows, three doors have been renewed, and the facia and guttering around the building has been replaced with modern plastic.

Accommodation found for rough sleepers

Rough sleepers in Bridgwater have been found accommodation since the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak, which is a great help to the individuals concerned. We hope the accommodation will be able to continue.

New heating system

A new heating system has been installed in our premises. We are also going to replace the old metal ‘Crittall’ windows which are single glazed and not wind-proof with double glazed units, which will make the heating system much more economical to run.

Foodbank Car Parking

Having had many problems with out 17 car park spaces which are rented out this year at a cost of £504 each for a permit to park for 24 hours a day on the allotted space. Period Poverty

Homes in Sedgemoor Housing Association are to address this problem by supplying 48 Feminine Hygiene parcels for their tenants, if they visit the Foodbank.
