Puriton Primary School donates for Harvest Festival

Puriton Primary School has donated nearly 250kg of food and provisions to the Bridgwater Foodbank from their Harvest Festival celebrations (see photo below). We were delighted to welcome our new MP for Bridgwater, Ashley Fox, to Bridgwater Foodbank on Friday 12th July. He met some of our clients, our volunteers, our Manager, our Warehouse Manager and our Life President. We’re looking forward to working together to support the people in need in this constituency.

Cllr Leigh Redman , Labour Party MP candidate, visited Bridgwater Foodbank this morning, 21st June. He is a long-standing supporter of the Foodbank. Here he is with Molly and Ash, two of our Friday volunteers, in our warehouse. Leigh could see that our shelves have less stock than they used to.
